Identity, who I am in front of others and who I am in front of myself. My collection is about the attitude of the homogenous society towards the other. Growing up in the Givat Geula neighbourhood of Ramat Gan, located between the villas of Ramat Hen neighbourhood and the decaying buildings of Ramat Hashikma neighbourhood, I had spent most of my childhood in denial of my Oriental descent, wanting to belong, to be the same as my

classmates, but I was often reminded that I did not belong .

This project gave me the opportunity to dive into the depths of the Eastern culture history in Israel, reexamine my identity, strengthen and empower the Oriental roots that have been missing, denied or erased over the years from the history of Zionism and the State of Israel .

In my collection, I wanted to convey the feeling of who I am today, a combination of East and West. I created ready to wear women's collection that combines Yemenite inspired patterns and richness through the colors, fabrics and embroideries with elements from the Western suit .
