My collection was designed for people with disabilities, as part of a rising trend for creating designed products which are accessible to the entire population. Intrigued by asymmetry in the human body, I have studied asymmetry in art and particularly how asymmetry can become aesthetical.

I was inspired by Ecstatic Vernacular, the exhibition of painter Matt

Kleberg and photographer Erin O’keefe on the effect of light, shade and geometrical shapes in translating 2D figures to spatial perception.

Another major source of inspiration was La Muralla Roja, the architectural masterpiece of Ricardo Bofill who used light and shade effects to challenge spatial perception. Tailored garments are often challenging for wearing due to their stiffness, which is a major problem for disabled people.

Combination of wool with elastic fabrics allowed for greater motion range and enhanced comfort.
