Recently, I realized how I missed looking at reality through my eyes without the mediation of the screen. the philosopher L.Feuerbach, said: "There is no doubt that our present age, which prefers the sign to the thing signified, the copy to the original, fancy to reality, the

appearance to the essence" This quote expresses my feelings about society- our reality has become a raw material for simulating a different reality. authenticity has disappeared .

 

In this collection, I explored the concept Simulacra and how photos are inherently a far-reaching way to experience life. Simultaneously, I explored the authentic process of the garment that happens over the years. It is a men’s and women’s streetwear collection,

made-up of diverse textures, and patterns derived from my personal photographs, which were printed on natural fabrics and unpicked. The print stiffened the fabric which made the authentic unpicking difficult. The collection conveys a daily sense of walking in the street and looking at the reality from human eyes in a world of images and inauthenticity.
